Calvin’s Water Bomb Didn’t Meet The Expectations

PLOOSH. How can something seem so plausible at the same time so idiotic in retrospect? Calvin tosses a water bomb in the air. He runs so he can catch the bomb as it falls down. The water bomb lands on his head with a big PLOOSH. Calvin wonders how he could have not seen that coming although it seemed so plausible.
Doesn’t anyone have something they look back to and think exactly this?
