I never liked ice cream cones too much until I discovered a new way to eat them. I bite off the bottom of the cone and suck out the ice cream as it gets soft. You wouldn’t believe some of the awful noises you can make, and it gets pretty sloppy when the cone gets soggy and both ends start dripping. In MY book, food should be nutrition AND entertainment. That’s why we tigers like our food surprised and running. Calvin and Hobbes stand outside. Calvin hold an ice cream cone and shares with Hobbes that he has found a new method how to eat ice cream and now he enjoys ice cream more than before. He explains that he bites off the lower end of the cone as soon as the ice cream got a little soft. He’s proud that this method enables him to make gross noises and also, this method is supposed to be more sloppy. They start to walk while calvin explains that in his book there’s more on making food nutrition and entertainment. Hobbes adds the tiger point of view: They like their food surprised and running for the same reason.
