BU-URRPP! CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP AUTHOR! AUTHOR! ENCORE! Philistines. Calvin burps so loud that his dad’s glasses fall off. Calvin demands a round of applause for this outstanding burp. His family is not happy about this kind of behaviour at the dinner table. They look angrily at him. Back in his room, Calvin calls them “Philistines” in front of Hobbes.
