Intelligent Life Better Doesn’t Contact Us

I was reading about how countless species are being pushed toward extinction by man’s destruction of forests. Sometimes I think the surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us. Calvin and Hobbes are going through a forest. While they explore the nature Calvin talks about the exstinction of animals and how species from other planets are better off not contacting us. Hobbes remains silent. They climb over a tree that fell down.

Aren’t we nice to hang out with?
