little red riding hood tiger friendly version
What should we have Dad read us tonight? … so in the next panel, Supertoad goes “”Plooie”" and … “”My what big teeth you have! Said little Red Riding Hood. The better to eat you with! Said the wolf … tiger … said the tiger, and he pounced on Little Red Riding Hood. Just then a hunter came by, and when he saw the wolf … tiger … when he saw the tiger he picked up his gun and … and? …and it was too late. The tiger ate them both and he lived happily ever after. The end.”" Good story Dad! Thanks! Sniff. I always cry at happy endings. Calvin and Hobbes sit in front of a book shelf and browse books. They look for a story Calvin’s dad could read them. In bed, Calvin’s dad tells the story of a supertoad that goes “plooie”. Calvin and Hobbes still lie in bed as Calvin’s dad tells the fairy tale of little red riding hood. Calvin tries to make the story less about a wolf and more about a tiger. His dad gives in. At the end, the tiger eats little red riding hood, grandma and the hunter in the story. Calvin’s dad isn’t happy with the new story. Calvin likes the new ending very much. Hobbes is moved to tears by such a beautiful happy ending.
